Word from Editor-in-Chief

Greetings CAPED Community!

I hope this message finds each of you well. Thank you to everyone that contributed to this Fall’s CAPED Communique. The CAPED Communique is a mechanism we use to connect research, ideas, and action with colleagues throughout the state. I am excited to share the pieces submitted with all of you.

Throughout the year we sent out requests for article submissions. Each time we sent out a request I was in awe of the responses received from my professionals throughout the state. Everyone that reached out or offered to help was eager to share how they support students in the post-secondary environment. In this edition of the publication you will learn about a variety of topics ranging from research projects to sharing lived experiences in the field to collaborations through local partnerships. Thank you again to those that read our requests and reached out in support of this work, your pieces are a delight to share.

In closing, I’d like to thank everyone that has supported the beginning of my journey as Editor-in-Chief. This year has proved to be challenging for many of us in the field and I am forever grateful for the long-lasting friendships and partnerships forged. Please look forward to more frequent communication from the team regarding our Spring 2023 edition! As always, please consider writing an article for next year’s Communique and please enjoy this Fall 2022 edition!

Sincerely,

Rebecca Ferrelli, M.S.
