Membership

CAPED was founded in 1974, when the advancement of post-secondary educational opportunities for students with disabilities became available with the passing of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Since the beginning, the CAPED organization has attempted to respond to the diverse interests and needs across the post-secondary educational sectors of California through the establishment of CAPED Interest Groups (CIGS) and special committees and task forces – the most recent of which focuses on returning veterans with disabilities.

If you are interested in joining CAPED, please complete the membership form and mail it.
