<b>English Description </b><p><b>I'll Be Back Soon</b> is a collection of one hundred bilingual English-Farsi very short stories, each no longer than a few sentences-or, at times, only a scattering of words.<br>In writing within this form, I have drawn on the distinctive qualities of the genre to their furthest limits: brevity, the closing blow, ambiguity, minimal characterization, and an intense focus on a single moment. I have tried to make each of these brief narratives a small spark struck from a hidden wound, a fragment of life, so that in the reader's mind it may leave an impression as deep as that of a much longer story.<br>I have prepared this collection in both Farsi-Dari and English so that young people living far from their homeland-those who read and write less and less in Farsi-may renew their bond with their mother tongue and with their roots.
